A place for every little piece

From “still waiting”
to all together.

Your team knows the books. Monthwell keeps the collection
work organized, one client and one month at a time.

One thing at a time.EXAMPLE WORKFLOW

Missing, submitted and accepted are three different things.

You bring the expertise.
We’ll help you find the pieces.

Made for independent bookkeeping firms with 2 to 5 staff and 30 to 100 recurring clients. A focused collection workspace alongside the accounting tools you already use.

Thoughtful, down to the details

Good order.
Less overhead.

A few practical things that make the monthly rhythm easier to follow.

Received isn’t reviewed.

A submission moves to your review inbox. Your team decides when it’s accepted, so a checklist reflects the work you’ve actually checked.

Each month has its place.

Create the next month’s requests while keeping the previous month’s progress. Export a client’s collection when it’s time for a handoff.

A gentle nudge, on your terms.

Scheduled reminders and pause controls are planned for the hosted pilot. For now, explore reminder settings and draft previews in the demo.

Can I use Monthwell with real clients today?

The current version is an interactive demo with fictional clients. Use sample documents only. It runs in your browser and is not yet a secure hosted service for your team or clients. Staff accounts and remote client access are planned for early access.

Does it replace my accounting software?

Monthwell focuses on collecting and reviewing the information you need before doing the books. Keep using your accounting software. Accounting integrations are not available in the demo.

Does it send reminders automatically?

Scheduled email reminders are planned for the hosted pilot. The demo lets you explore reminder settings, previews and saved drafts. It does not send email.

What does “Ready to close” mean?

Every requested item has been accepted by staff. Your team still decides whether the information is sufficient and the books are ready to close. Monthwell does not check the books or confirm accounting completeness.

We already use a collection tool. Why try this?

Compare the monthly view, review flow and export with your current process. We’re using early-access conversations to learn where Monthwell is useful and what would make a switch worthwhile.

Who is Mello?

A little jelly with a soft spot for getting things together. Drag Mello in the hero to stretch them, then let go for a wobble. You can also focus Mello and use the arrow keys or Space.

Make a little room for a better month

Every month has loose ends.
Let’s bring yours together.

I’m UV, the developer behind Monthwell. Tell me where last month’s
collection got stuck. We can walk through the demo in 20 minutes
and see if the proposed pilot fits your firm.

Bring your process and questions. No client documents needed.
